Iggy Pop
Pop is known for leaking blood on stage. Yeap, you read right, blood. He cut himself for the first time when he fell on a drinking glass by accident, and the fans went crazy. Since then, he decided to make the blood part of his performance. He was also one of the first to include crowd jumping and stage dives into his performances.
Pop’s movement and body were used as a basis for the character Gollum in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings movie: The Fellowship of the Ring in 2001.Pop was also the inspiration for the character “Funboy” in The Crow’s 1994 film. He intended to play “Funboy,” but he was unable to do it due to scheduling conflicts. In The Crow: City of Angels, Iggy still appears as “Curve” in 1996.
