I Used to Know Everything
This parent recalls an extraordinary conversation with their young child, who seemed to have a profound connection to a time before their birth. The child, just 4 or 5 years old, described their experience in the womb as warm and “cozy,” contrasting it with the cold and scary nature of being born into the world.
But what truly astounded the parent was when their little one confided that the most challenging part of being born was the loss of knowledge. The child claimed to have known everything before entering this world but now felt ignorant about everything. Perhaps, in this child’s innocent and unfiltered mind, remnants of forgotten wisdom existed from a realm beyond our understanding.
