Simulation Theory: Preschool Edition
Are we living in a computer simulation? According to this four-year-old, yes. Things got pretty philosophical one day when this storyteller’s son decided to share his stream-of-conscious thoughts. He casually started the conversation off by hypothesizing that we all live in a “pretend world” and that “someone is playing with us.”
Uh, did this four-year-old watch The Matrix and discover the meaning of life, all before dinnertime? Our storyteller asked their kid to elaborate, and he sure did. The little kid calmly explained how we couldn’t see the person controlling our simulation selves because they don’t live in the same world. We think this kid just cracked the code.
