A Secret Sibling Language
They say that twins tend to have a unique bond that lets them communicate in a special way. But is this possible with siblings? Yes, if they speak a language their parents don’t know! When this storyteller’s kids were three and five, they started talking to each other in a language neither of their parents understood.
Both parents were confused but figured it was some kind of secret sibling language. Come to find out; the kids were speaking an African dialect the whole time. They’re all grown up now and still remember a few phrases. What they don’t remember, however, is how and where they learned how to speak this language so fluently when they were little.
