#39: Peruvian ChiCha
One of the most interesting things about desserts is that they can be made from just about anything, as long as you add some sugar. Pictured below is the Chicha Purple Temptation. It’s only available in Peru, and the color is not artificial; it comes from blue corn, which is popular in the region.
When you think of corn, dessert is typically not the first item that comes to mind. In fact, it may not come to mind at all. Well, the Peruvian Chicha Purple Temptation is going to change that. This delicious little pastry looks like it belongs in a high-end bakery, but alas, you can find it at McDonald’s.
