#15: Canadian McLobster
Seafood is wonderful, delicious, and very healthy for you (most of it). There is also a huge variety of food that comes from the ocean. Fish, crab, oysters, lobsters, they’re all scrumptious. The only problem with seafood is that it can be a bit on the pricey side. McDonald’s had the idea to create an affordable lobster sandwich called the McLobster.
The McLobster, which was released only in Canada, seemed like a great idea. Fresh lobster steaks atop a bed of lettuce with some sauce between two buns—sounds like a winner to us. Like the cordon bleu burger in Poland, this sandwich did not turn out to be popular, so McDonald’s discontinued it. It was the most expensive item on the menu, so maybe that had something to do with it.
