#11: “I’m every nightmare you’ve ever had!”
I have to admit, I’ve never seen the original It. I much prefer to read Stephen King than watch the horror unfold on the screen, especially when clowns are involved. Still, the 1990 mini-series garnered a cult following and was primarily shot in British Columbia, Canada. This is Beaver Lake.
The abandoned sewer building is nowhere to be seen because it wasn’t there in the first place. It was built in a prop mill and brought to the location for the shots. It’s incredible to me how little the area has changed. I’m glad to see they respected it enough to leave it as they found it.
