Iconic Hollywood Location Sets and How They Look Today

If you’ve seen Back to the Future II, you’ll recognize this tunnel, even without Marty front and center in the photo. It’s also been used in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Throw Mama from the Train and dozens of others. It’s the Mount Hollywood Tunnel located on Mt. Hollywood Drive in Los Angeles, California.

If you’re ever out that way, it’s a gorgeous drive through winding roads. Many people head there for epic night hikes to get to the Griffith Observatory above. You can see the Los Angeles Basin, Hollywood, and the Pacific Ocean while gazing up at the stars on a clear night. Check their opening times, however, and take plenty of water!
