#43: A Peeler Feature
Potato peelers exist to make our lives easier. Not only do they help us peel potatoes at lightning speed, but they also have a built-in feature that gets rid of brown spots. Most peelers have a curved blade on top. This blade is intended to dig out pesky spots that you would otherwise cut off with a knife.

This feature is pretty nifty because it precisely targets the part of the potato you want to cut off. You don’t have to cut off and waste portions of the potato that are still perfectly good. Surprisingly, a lot of people don’t know about this secret feature. Spread the good word. We could all use a little more potatoes in our lives.
