That’s it! I take it all back. I know what I said about long losts, and reunification, and hitting me right in the tear ducts. But I’ve had it. Not every single time that a person meets another person who knows someone that the first person knows is an exciting or moving story.
Shortly, we can make the distinction between the real tear-jerking moments and the ones that are just banal games trying to figure out how we can connect, no matter how obscure those connections are. I’m sorry to be the one to break it to you all, but sharing a train with someone who knows your sister from school is not an exciting story!
