#12: Scotts and Americans
We would like to know what were the Scottish soldiers doing, what they were wearing, and how and why they were captured. We know it’s war, and all sorts of things happen during war, but we want to know why was it so hard for the American captors to identify them.
I guess it’s kind of hard to get into the shoes of soldiers in WWII. Aside from the obvious risk of getting trench foot from those shoes, I guess there’s some discrepancy in access to information. To us, it may seem ridiculous, but it’s possible they just didn’t know what a Scottish accent sounded like.
