#13: In Space, No One Can Hear You… Knock?
Yang Liwei became the 33rd man to travel to space in 2003 but made history by being the first Chinese astronaut to make it to space. Apparently, he had a unique experience. He shared a mysterious story in a B.B.C. interview three years following his space mission.
According to Liwei, he heard a knocking on his spaceship while in orbit. He looked to make sure he was alone, and there wasn’t anybody there to make the knocking sound. We know that unlike on Earth, there is no sound in space; in near-empty regions of space, you can’t hear anything. But this astronaut heard knocks.
