#26: New York
When thinking of New York, most people conjure images of NYC, namely the skyscrapers of Manhattan. The city is synonymous with Wall Street, the financial hub of the world, and is often stereotypically associated with the pursuit of wealth and success. The bustling streets of Manhattan, the glittering lights of Times Square, and the fast-paced lifestyle of the city that never sleeps have all contributed to these stereotypes.
While New York City is a global financial powerhouse, it’s also a diverse state with a rich cultural heritage, beautiful natural landscapes in upstate New York, and a multitude of communities that go beyond the financial district. Stereotypes aside, the Empire State offers a wide range of experiences for its residents and visitors.
