#22: Nevada
Nevada, mostly thanks to the reputation of Las Vegas, is often stereotyped as a hub for extravagant entertainment, flashy casinos, and non-stop gambling. The famous Las Vegas Strip is known worldwide for its glitzy casinos and vibrant nightlife. While gambling is indeed a significant part of Nevada’s economy and culture, the state has much more to offer.
Nevada boasts stunning natural landscapes, including the iconic Hoover Dam and the picturesque Lake Tahoe. It’s also home to a rich history, with remnants of the Old West scattered throughout the state. So, while the neon lights and slot machines are a big draw, Nevada has a multifaceted identity that extends beyond the gaming tables.
