We, humans, tend to have a soft spot for many animals, whether we like it or not. Even when they have done something wrong that requires them to be punished, many of us find it hard to do. Perhaps we have all been playing at this whole “pet ownership” thing wrong… Maybe we need to take a page out of the military’s book.

In the military, dogs are considered to be of a higher ranking than their human soldiers. Apparently, it is so that soldiers don’t leave behind in the field during battle, which would jeopardize the life of a fellow soldier or commander… It might seem weird to some, but we have no doubt that these dogs feel part of the team.
