A Real-Life Dungeon
The OP rented this totally awesome house on top of a hill in the Los Angeles suburbs, which is currently up for sale. They claimed to have discovered a large amount of stonework that appeared to have been done by hand, which includes the small walls, staircases, and the arch. If anything, this is an olden-day dungeon that came standard in every home in that period.
According to the OP, the house had been in the possession of a stonemason for decades until they passed away from natural causes age. After that, the current owner purchased the property and began renting it out. Strangely enough, no one was aware of the true purpose of the dungeon until the OP came bumbling along.
