The Potted Mask
What are your thoughts on this discovery, folks? Is it a particularly intriguing one, or is it a find of the eerie persuasion? It looks like the mask that the Phantom of the Opera’s phantom would’ve worn. It’s interesting to say the least, but we can’t figure out why someone wanted to plant this face mask in the first place.
No Time to Die’s Lyutsifer Safin, the Bond villain played by Rami Malek, may have left a lasting impression on the person who originally placed the mask in the pot. In reality, this mask is indeed a Noh mask, which can be traced back to Japan. There’s no way to tell how it landed in the pot, but we’re glad that we didn’t come across it.
