There are so many annoying things about going to the dentist, that just the thought is enough to put you off from ever attending an appointment. Whether it is the pain of the procedure, the awkward interaction, the bill, or the inability to talk during a procedure, the list goes on and on.

Surely dentists know that when they ask us questions and they have tools in our mouths, we can’t possibly answer in a coherent way? If that is true why do they always seem confused when people answer them in a way that is physically inaudible?
