Are you the type of person that is just simply losing things all of the time? We aren’t here to judge you, just here to agree with you because same. Keys, backpacks, kids (just kidding), you name it, we’re losing it. We don’t know about you, but anytime (okay, every time) we’ve lost something all we’ve wanted to do was have the ability to push a button and find it. So what if we told you the technology for that was finally here?

Apple released what is known as the Apple AirTag on April 30th, 2021, and starting at just $29, the AriTag is marketed as a way to keep track of your stuff. Yeah, it’s that simple. You can attach your tag to a number of different things and when they’ve disappeared, users can simply go to the “Find My” app and be able to track any and all devices.

The AirTag can also be activated simply by asking Siri to find your lost belongings. So when you’re already late for work, then on top of everything else can’t find your keys or wallet, you can simply ask Siri where they are, then you’ll hear the sounds and follow it. Is there anything Siri can’t do?

You may be wondering: but what if I still can’t find it? Well, Apple thought of that too, and thanks to Precision Finding, your iPhone will quite literally lead you to whatever you’re looking for. Ya know, like the hot and cold game, only much more spot-on.

Now that you’ve got an idea of what the AirTag is, here is a list of lose-able items you can put the AirTag on:

Keys

Wallet

Purse

Backpack

Luggage

Instrument cases

Camera and/or laptop bag

Tools

Cameras

Bicycles

Skateboards

Cars

Remotes

Umbrellas

Dog

Cat

Kids (Although an Apple Watch is still recommended over the AirTag!)

Drone

Favorite toys

Coats/Jackets

Honestly, pretty much anything and everything.

At this point you’re probably pretty sold, we know we are, but here is a quick list of pros and cons we’ve found, based on reviews.

Pros:

Easy setup. Apple is notorious for easy-to-use products and the AirTag is no different.

Range. This seemed to be a big concern for consumers, but buyers have reported the AirTag having a massive range.

Price. As we said earlier, the AirTag starts at just $29.

Cons:

Holders are sold separately. A holder is almost always necessary for the AirTag no matter your reason for purchasing, and these holders have to be purchased separately.

Apple use only. Sorry Android users, the AirTag is not compatible with your device.

The fit is off. There isn’t really a comfortable or convenient way to have the AirTag attached or inside of your wallet.
