Olden-Day Shopping List
Even though it’s not technically a sale since the OP discovered it at their grandmother’s house, it’s still worth putting on our list. At first, it looks like a simple piece of metal with sliding metal slits, but if you pay close attention, you’ll see writing stamped into the metal. The writing simply reads different commonly purchased grocery items.
This person, who is a resident of Louisiana, shared a picture of the ancient metal shopping list. While shopping, all you have to do is turn the knobs to show which items are in your grocery cart (did they have carts back then?) and which you have yet to find. Who needs an app when they can use this olden-day shopping list that’s probably not for sale any longer?
