Get in, nerd, we’re going to dinner.
Sorry, that was harsh.
Here’s the thing: we love a themed dinner, lunch, or cocktail hour, and what is our favorite theme? Science, of course! Here is a list of just a few of our favorite geek eateries.
The Aviary in Chicago, Illinois

If you’re looking for an experience, then look no further than The Aviary. Not only is your order guaranteed to be impressive, but the presentation and delivery? Almost just as good. Almost. The cool thing about the menu is that it’s ever-changing, so don’t get too attached to any particular drink, but drinks that have been served in the past include an Old Fashioned served inside the perfect sphere of ice that you actually have to crack open to get to your drink, as well as drinks served with their very own bunsen burners. There is also a special area known as The Office, but don’t get too excited about the vintage spirits served here, because you do have to be invited. Check out The Aviary here!
Farmacy in London, UK

This restaurant is super trendy, which we assumed upon seeing the syringes. There are a ton of farm-to-table options for any meal you may be grabbing here, but what we’re really interested in are these syringe shots that are not only fun to add to your drink but good for you. Guests can choose from different shots including the O.M.G., Beautify, or Fire Starter. Check out Farmacy here!
Chemistea

If you’ve ever watched to feel like a chemist, or you’re a real-life chemist with a sense of humor, then you simply must check out Chemistea. Here you can find a variety of beverages, mostly teas, that are all served in beakers and lab flasks. If nothing really appears to tickle your fancy, Chemistea encourages guests to perform their own scientific experiment to create a drink that they will love. You will, of course, receive the ingredients to create your own drink in test tubes. Check out Chemistea here!
Cafe Scientifique

Cafe Scientifique currently exists in over 60 towns and cities around the world, and the concept is super unique. While you won’t be pumping your drinks full of healing properties via a syringe and you won’t be served cocktails in a beaker, you can however for the price of a cup of coffee or glass of wine, explore the latest in science and technology today from some of the brightest minds around.
