The McKroket from the Netherlands
We have officially made our way back to Europe for the next item on our list. Here we have the McKroket from the Netherlands. Usually, when you think of the Netherlands, you think of Amsterdam, The Hague, and maybe some award-winning cheeses. After chowing down a McKroket, it will be on the top of your Netherlands list.
The McKroket is the McDonald’s version of a croquette sandwich. Just in case you don’t know, a croquette is a cake of minced food, typically fish, poultry, or vegetables, that is coated in bread crumbs and deep-fried. McDonald’s took it a step further by filling their croquette with beef stew, adding a mustard sauce to it, and then slapping it between two pieces of bread. Delicious.
