#38: No Such Thing as a Free Lunch
I think this next one is interesting, not because I agree with it, but because it shows an interesting mindset that’s becoming more and more prevalent. The Internet has made us really accustomed to getting anything we want for free at any time, so people can start to feel irritated or even resentful if they are expected to pay for something.
But if you think about it, that doesn’t work as a model at all. After all, someone has to create this content, and those content creators usually want to be paid. Some websites, such as newspapers and magazines, often have to get subscriber fees to pay their content creators.
