Things That Have No Reason to Exist in Our Society But Inexplicably Still Do

This next post says that it seems like being stuck in traffic for three hours a day should be a thing of the past, and it absolutely should. But the truth is that unless we all change a lot, it’s only going to get worse.

As populations grow and more and more people crowd into cities, and as people become wealthier and more able to afford cars, traffic is only going to become a bigger problem. To make it otherwise, we would have to start convincing people to take public transportation, or choose jobs that aren’t so far away from their houses. And honestly, good luck with either of that.
