Things That Have No Reason to Exist in Our Society But Inexplicably Still Do

I was actually really surprised to find out there is such a virulent hatred for pineapple on pizza. When I was growing up, it was as common as pepperoni pizza; I didn’t know anyone who didn’t love it. It’s been only in the last 10 to 15 years that I have discovered there are people on the Internet who are violently against it.

OK, so it’s not Italian. Guess what? Neither is pizza, as we eat it in America. You think Italy is eating a huge greasy slab of cheese covered in pepperoni, sausage, and bacon? You think BBQ chicken pizza is to be found in charming Sicilian villages? Of course not! So stop coming for Hawaiian pizza unless you are going to insist that all American pizza is unacceptable.
