50 Things That Should No Longer Exist in 2024 But Somehow Still Have a Place in Society

I have mixed feelings about this next one. I absolutely agree that it is crazy that people can go into crushing debt to save their lives. Surely, there should be some kind of safety net in place so that people aren’t forced to choose between a lifetime of paying off debt or death.

But I have to admit, and I know this is an unpopular opinion, that I’ve never been on board with the idea of forgiving student debt. It’s extremely possible to get a higher education while accumulating only a small amount of debt, if any; you just have to be more particular about where you go and what you do.
