Hag Moth Larva
One person shared a photo of a “weird squirming living Lovecraftian nightmare” they found in their yard. If we saw something like this on our garden, we’d seriously consider moving. How do you go about your day after seeing something like this on your lawn? I’d be looking over my shoulder every five minutes.
Somehow, this person was brave enough to not run away immediately and never look back, but rather take a photo of the unidentified intruder and post it on a Reddit thread. This creature was identified as a hag moth, which is also known as “monkey slugs,” due to their hairy legs. Although the Reddit user assured the readers the hag moth is not dangerous or harmful to humans, we’d hate to find one of these in our yard.
