Okay, we want you to do us a favor; close your eyes and think of the cutest creature you can. You got it? We can only assume you thought of the sweetest little puppy, maybe a baby goat, a fluffy cow, we could go on, but our point is, you probably didn’t think of a bug. But today we’re going to prove to you that bugs can be adorable. Let’s get started!
Rosy Maple Moth
(image via: prevention)
This is a rosy maple moth and yes, it’s prettier than us. This moth is the smallest of its kind and is known for, of course, its bright pink and bright yellow fuzz. We aren’t sure if it’s the size of or the fuzz on this little critter, or possibly even the fact that it looks like it’s wearing two pink bows, but we find this little fuzzball precious. And it’s totally harmless!
Baeus

Did you let out a little squeal when you saw this cutie or no? Because we definitely did. Not only is this little guy cute, but he’s also super interesting; for instance, the Baeus doesn’t require wings because he will ride on a female spider’s back until she lays her eggs. (At this point he does attack the egg sac, but we won’t go into the gory details!)
Ladybugs

Did you honestly think we could have a list of cute bugs and leave out ladybugs?! We all know and love these spotted little sweeties! Not only are they good luck (and they are!) but they’re totally harmless and we love their gorgeous bright red color and adorable little spots.
Pink Meadow Grasshoppers

We aren’t sure what it is with us and pink bugs, but we simply can’t resist them. These grasshoppers are super rare though because their colors make them stand out something fierce, which turns them into easy targets.
Floofy Bumblebee

Chubby little bumblebees are the cutest little flying floofs and we stand by that. And don’t forget: bumblebees are harmless unless they feel threatened, so just leave them bee. (See what we did there?) And also don’t forget that there is a ton you can do for bees so that in their short time on Earth, they live their best lives. (Because we really need them!)
Jewel Beetle

This is another bug that is more pretty than cute, but we just had to include this beetle on our list. These bugs come in all different colors, and some (though not all!) of them display a metallic gleam that shows off all of their colors at once making them look like an oil puddle! (In the best possible way, of course!)
