If you were a kid in the 80s and 90s, then you know the heart-wrenching tragedy of a cassette tape getting stuck. The suspense would build as we pressed play, hoping for the sweet melodies of our favorite tunes, only to be greeted by a cacophony of whirring and screeching.
The tape would stubbornly refuse to budge, tangled in a messy web of magnetic chaos. Our attempts to rescue it involved a delicate ballet of jiggling, shaking, and blowing into the cassette player like a desperate harmonica player. But nevertheless, we were left with a mound of plastic string…
