Feeding the Deer
Sentences and phrases sometimes lose their meaning once you try to translate them from one language to another. This sign was originally in French and it’s basically saying that you should insert 25 cents to get food to feed the deer with. Translated to English, it becomes “to feed the deer use 25 cents.”
We’d think that the issue here is quite easy to see. The person who took this picture definitely agrees. He’s taking what the sign says way too literally, by using 25 cents in an attempt to feed the deer. The deer doesn’t seem to be interested in his money, thankfully. You can only buy his affection with actual food!
