Prejudiced Parakeet
Dealing with rude customers can be a real pain in the you-know-what. Sometimes you want to tell them to take a hike and bother someone else. Still, unfortunately, that’s not really an option when you work in customer service. The key to dealing with these people is to kill them with kindness.
I’m talking smiles so big they can see them through the phone and responses so polite they’d make your grandma blush. It’s like a game of customer service chess – they make their move with some snarky comment or condescending tone, and you counter with a friendly “I’m sorry you feel that way; how can I help you?”
