#44: Knox Box
Finding a random keyhole in a wall is definitely peculiar. What’s the meaning of this keyhole? What does it open? Keyholes are usually placed on doors, not walls. Where’s the key, if this is indeed a keyhole, and who has it? We seem to have all the right questions but no answers whatsoever.
Apparently, this keyhole opens to a Knox Box, a wall-mounted safe that stores building keys for fire departments and emergency medical services. In case of a fire or emergency, the medical team or firefighters can access the locked building using the keys stored in the Knox Box.
