#35: Tips for Saving Money
I lived in the dorms my freshman year of college, despite the fact that my parents lived only 15 minutes away from the university. And I don’t regret that fact; I made friends who stayed with me through the rest of our college careers, and I learned how to take care of myself and do my own laundry and get myself out of bed for class.
But good gravy, was it expensive. I really can’t fault the writer of this story for saying that it might have been a better decision to live at home, at least for that first year of college. And it’s always nice to graduate college with less debt than you could have had.
