If Only School Was This Interesting
In the past two years a lot of us had to get used to things that we previously had not been accustomed to: wearing masks, sanitizing our hands frequently, having meetings on Zoom, and for those still in school, doing classes online. And you’d think that online school ought to be easy; after all, in this day and age, most people spend a rather astonishing amount of time staring at screens. Our Netflix watching habits alone ought to have been perfect practice to prepare us for all of this online interaction, right?
Somehow, it just didn’t work out that way. For some reason, staring at the screen for an hour of online school is significantly harder than 10 hours of Netflix. Well, I say “some reason”; obviously the reason is that Netflix has deep pockets and vast teams of very clever people whose job it is to make these shows compelling and easy to binge. Your online classes only have your poor teachers, doing their best to make the most of a bad situation.
