Netflix has a wide variety of shows, from fictional programming to competition shows to travel shows, but for a lot of people, it’s the platform’s plethora of true crime that draws them in. Some people are just happiest when watching shows about suburban dads who make one fatal credit card mistake that gets them convicted for their wife’s murder.

Personally, I can’t watch any of that; I already spend enough of my time convinced that every creak my house makes is the footstep of a murderer. I don’t need any encouragement for my overactive imagination. But for some people, this stuff is not only fun, it’s relaxing; this is what they listen to in order to wind down at the end of the day.
