#44: Cat Calling
We know that dogs recognize the sound of their owners and can be trained to do certain things on command. We also know that cats aren’t as obedient as dogs and they play by their own rules. While we always suspected cats can hear and understand us and simply don’t care for what we say, now we have scientific proof.
While cats do recognize the sound of their owners’ voices, they simply don’t care when we call them. Like we said- they play by their own rules. Unlike dogs, who would do anything for a snack, cats have a bit more self-respect, and they aren’t willing to be pushed around by anyone- not even the people who love them and care for them and provide them with a warm home.
