#52: That Seems Excessive
Job interviews can be excruciating and mentally draining. You have to sit there while being tested and scrutinized and answer a string of questions while remaining clever, polite, and professional. Job interviews can take anything from fifteen minutes to two hours, and usually, the longer they are, it’s a good sign.
That’s not always the case, though. It sounds like this interview was excruciatingly long for no reason. The interviewer actually went over this woman’s entire resume and then asked her to tell him about her college classes – from 25 years ago! Who remembers that? And how is that even relevant?
