#10: Thinking Outside the Box
We’re starting to think these math questions should undergo a complete overhaul. While they should be clear to most children who have been paying attention in class, if you decide to take them literally, you really can’t fault the answers that are given. For instance, look at this one.
I mean, are they really wrong? They are wrong, but they’re also right, in a way. The kid truly did find the difference between the figures of 8 and 6, but it seems that he’s mistaken this for an English class. We’re here to do math, son, so for next time, just subtract. That’d be more correct and less funny.
