#58: Shifting Shadow
Shadows are easily cast during film production without proper lighting. In some cases, the guys behind the scenes need to be completely inconspicuous to get a mic in the right spot or a camera at the right angle. Friends’ episodes were produced in the ’90s and early 2000s, when everything was still mostly manual.
After ten years of going unnoticed, in season three, episode three, there is a shifting shadow in the background by Monica’s closet. Whether it was a cast member about to come on set, a film crew, or a camera, the shadow is certainly a bit eerie to the keen eye.
