Play Does Have Limit
Oh, this one hurts. This is such a common trap that people fall into. Maybe they want something but they don’t have the money to pay for all of it right now. So instead, they do a rent-to-own situation or a payment plan. After all, it seems like a great idea, right? You don’t have to pay everything now, but you still get what you’re after.
And I guess in that sense it’s useful, but most of the time, you end up doing exactly what this kid did: paying quite a bit more money for the privilege of owning that thing. Also, I don’t want to come off like a snob, but hear me out: if your finances are such a disaster that you can’t pay $300 up front, maybe you can’t afford a PlayStation right now. Maybe if you spent less time playing video games and more time getting a job…
