#32: No Boats or Planes
Look, we all need to draw our line somewhere, and it looks like actor Jamie Foxx knows a thing or two about setting his boundaries. While filming Miami Vice, the actor added a few extra clauses to his contract, one of which dictated that he be exempt from filming any scenes set on boats or planes.
We can’t blame him for wanting to stay on solid ground, but considering the film is set in Miami and involves a lot of high-speed boat chases, it’s safe to say that request was a bit of a stretch. Looks like Foxx was determined to stay in his comfort zone, no matter what the script called for. We can only imagine the rest of the cast and crew rolling their eyes when they heard that clause. Looks like Foxx truly knows how to make his mark in Hollywood, one contract clause at a time.
