A Battery of Problems
Did you know that AA and AAA batteries have the same voltage of 1.5V? That means they could technically be interchanged, but they are different sizes so that doesn’t happen. But if your child is crying furiously for their toy and you’re a bit too lax on safety, you might do what this person did.
By using little chunks of aluminum foil, they were able to make up the size difference and fit AAA batteries in the slots for AA. This is definitely far from safe but it must have worked. We applaud the creative brain behind it, but it really is safer to just go out and buy some Duracell or Energizer batteries.
